Curtiss motorcycle company respond to comments about Zeus

Curtiss motorcycle company has evolved rapidly this year with the totally new concept of thinking about bikes in general, and business model. Some fans don’t like the new Zeus and new “Curtiss Glen” Philosophy. Curtiss motorcycles have responded to those comments with their new Facebook campaign. The response was a quote from Charles Bukowski:

If you’re going to try, go all the way. Otherwise, don’t even start. This could mean losing girlfriends, wives, relatives and maybe even your mind. It could mean not eating for three or four days. It could mean freezing on a park bench. It could mean jail. It could mean derision. It could mean mockery–isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it. And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you’re going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is.”

Do It.

If you’re going to try, go all the way

We think it is amazing, and let us tell you why:

  1. Confederate motorcycles were not an easy bike to buy if your pockets were not deep. New Curtiss electric motorcycle Zeus will be available for around 30.000 USD. That is 3 times less what cheapest Confederate motorcycle ever costed. We can only presume that the future Curtiss motorcycles production will be much bigger than it ever was when other two NEW models are presented.
  2. Going through early stages of transformation from the gas company to electric with one GOAL: Do it ” Glen Curtiss” way and to find new frontiers! Why is this so awesome? This electric motorcycle brand is so popular the way it was, and they did not need to change a thing…..but…They had balls to do it, and they are not giving up because of a few bad comments. They didn’t just take popular B120wraith motorcycle and upgrade it with new CNC eye-catching details, they are rethinking powertrain and components. Curtiss motorcycles also disagreed with Zero so they sourced their own motors and coupled them on one shaft for bigger power and Nm. Again, starting EV business on their own, not taking anybody’s advice and NO for an answer!
  3. Guess what? If you do not like the Zeus design, there are 2-3 other electric motorcycle prototypes in development right now. We bet, they will rock!

Here at EvNerds we know one thing that nowbody can disagree: Curtiss motorcycles are an influential luxury brand in the motorcycle market. Their transition to GREEN is a very nice promotion and celebration of electric vehicle technology that will inspire others to try new things, to make new ideas work, and to do what is the hardest: GO ALL THE WAY!
