Electric Unicycle and EV Marketing in General
Danielle discovered that electric unicycles and most electric vehicle products are marketed in a boring and consumer-unfriendly way. How many times you heard for the last 10 years:
This is Eco-friendly, it saves the planet, it is green, etc.. ?
- THIS DOES NOT SAY NOTHING ABOUT THE PRODUCT ITSELF, IT DOES NOT DRIVE US TO BUY IT.
- IT IS NO LONGER A THING THAT SOMETHING IS ELECTRIC AND GREEN.
There is nothing wrong about pointing out the environmental and ecological benefit of green energy, but it needs to stop being a headline. There are other cool things about electric unicycles that should be pointed out first ( watch the Creative Nomad for those ideas ), and then at the end, you could just say: Oh yeah, and you kinda save the planet with this product a bit…or make less pollution. One of the right examples she gave is TESLA cars and their marketing. You don’t hear them yelling ITS GREEN, BUY IT!
