Solowheel Iota Second Generation sneak peak!
Solowheel Iota was introduced at Kickstarter campaign as a mini personal vehicle. Solowheel has successfully finished the campaign. They landed in known territory, where they have the finances and need to update the design to make it more interesting for the crowd. Best way to do so is to deliver the best possible product to existing backers, and not to wait the second generation to a pursuit that idea. That’s what they did. The backers are going to receive even the better vehicle then they originally bought. And each of this vehicles is like a moving advertisement for Solowheel company. If the advertisement is good, people are going to buy

You decide, we love the new looks and think that possibly they will overtake part of the cheap hoverboards market, as Iota is ideal for Children that have a hard time learning to drive electric unicycles or their Moms and Dads don’t really want them going full balance mode (meaning left-right one wheel). Kiwano KO1 was one of the first to tap into that market, but rather unsuccessful as it seems it’s not so much easier for kids to drive it. This image was used in Solowheel campaign to show what backers can expect from 2nd gen Iota

I think a thousand watt motor is overkill for a 20 cm wheel that only goes 12 km, more like a child’s ride…
Rather see 40 cm wheel(s) that can go 48 km!
