Greyp G6 Electric Bike reveal was incredible. GREYP TEAM succeeded to make G6 as mean as one BADASS ebike machine can be these days with all the power regulations around! The day after the reveal, there was an organized ebike tour to the beautiful island of Brač, Croatia. Seventy ebikes were waiting for Influencers, You Tubers, local and international news. Mate Rimac, who is a great informative speaker told the public everything about the technology they were working on for the past several years.
Greyp G6 Electric Mountain Bike Video with Greyp Bikes CEO: Mate Rimac
The presentation in Zagreb was carefully captured by the combination of Greyp and EvNerds cameras. This video contains answers to all possible questions that you might have about the Greyp bikes, development, the team and Greyp ebike history in general.

G6 Electric Bike Price
The new Greyp G6 went on sale on Friday night on the company’s web shop. There are three versions of the new bike, the G6.1, G6.2 and G6.3 with prices ranging from 6,500 to 7,500 euros. When looking at pricing consider what category this ebike fits in. In this electric mountain bike category we have brands like Specialized, Haibike, Giant, Spitzing.
Compare the specs, design and tech for yourself and take a look at the picture bellow. The “cheapest” G6 has a lot more to offer than the most expensive Haibike nduro 10 model. We would like to note that G6 does not hide the fact that it is an electric mountain bike, it glorifies it by showing the battery in a different color. That way, it really looks better than integrated down tubes on other ebikes.
The bike is definitely not for DIY people who want cheaper and their own options mounted on the bike. With SMART features and incredible design this bike perfectly fits the Haibike consumer category, and we are sure that this will reflect Greyps sales numbers. One more important thing to mention here that was missed by so many magazines who write about Rimac cars, or Greyp bikes; The eSTEM, Networking, Gamification and all other features of this ebike are available to other ebike dev. companies who want to purchase the tech for their own products!.
One needs to remember why do Concept ONE or Concept TWO exist in Rimac Car company; They serves as an example of technology that Rimac car company sells to other car manufacturers.
GREYP G6 TECHNOLOGY MADE A CLEAR STATEMENT FOR ITSELF: EITHER YOU OR YOUR COMPETITION WILL BUY OUR TECH OR WE WILL TAKE YOUR CUSTOMER
G6 serves as a great example of what Greyp bikes will sell to other ebike companies in the future. End customer was never the goal, but it will be very achievable with Greyp G6 emtb design and quality.
THE ONLY REVIEW OF GREYP G6 RIDE WE FOUND WORTH READING IS ONE FROM STAN SCHROEDER ( MASHABLE MAGAZINE ) WHO GOT THE IDEA OF G6 RIGHT:
But the biggest difference between Greyp G6 and most other e-bikes is that instead of relying on added sensors and smartphone smarts to provide extra functionality, the G6 has all of that built in. The bike has a GPS chip, a 3-axis gyroscope and accelerometer, and even a barometric pressure sensor. It has two wide-angle, 1080p cameras (front and rear). It has a 3-inch TFT screen, designed to be readable in sunlight, with a 240×400 pixel resolution for showing basic info such as battery life and speed. Connectivity-wise, the bike’s equipped with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a USB-C port. Most importantly, it’s constantly connected to the internet via a built-in e-SIM, with Greyp covering the data costs until at least 2022.
