Indonesian company Dog Shelter Custom bikes just made an innovative electric moped in Steampunk rusty styling after a bunch of beers and some scrap metal laying around ( This is what the owner told us). This bike has its purpose as a street fire-fighting machine in Jakarta!
STEAMPUNK FIRE-FIGHTER Electric Moped
The electric bike is made in a large garage full of finished and on-going projects with lots of custom parts and different motorcycle types.
It is not painted yet, but we still like the looks and the vintage rusty form. The bike is not about performance, or about perfection in detail. This DIY electric moped has a built-in fire extinguisher and will serve as a light and easily maneuverable fire fighting vehicle with a hub motor in the rear wheel and battery in the bottom part. Speed is up to 45 Km/h, and the position of sitting is like on cafe racers!
Bike design reminded us of a Pocket Rocket bike by SOL MOTORS.The rear light is actually emergency light as well!
