Delfast, a Guinness World Record-holding ebike for the longest range shown on a single charge (236 miles/380km) is starting a global promotion campaign for its mass rollout.
You might have heard about Delfast last year when the company has closed its Kickstarter campaign in just one day. Afterwards, it’s been widely featured in the media – Mashable, Yahoo, Business Insider, Digital Trends, etc. due to its unparalleled specs.
They’ve obliterated the previous record – Mashable
Now, after the last bikes for all the Kickstarter backers have been shipped – the company is preparing for a major expansion. As indicated in their latest press-release, Delfast is opening the pre-order campaign with all the new bikes estimated to be delivered by April 2019.
Right now, the company offers 2 models – Prime (as in the picture above) and Top, which differ in range and top speeds to suit various customer needs. Delfast Top boasts a 174-mile range with the top speed of 50 miles per hour. Prime, the bike that set the World Record, has a staggering range of 236 miles (which is more than Tesla Model 3) and the top speed of 34 miles per hour. The company claims that the two models were equally popular with Delfast Prime being a slight customer favourite.
Based on the immense support and customer feedback we received – we are accelerating our production cycle and increasing our global presence. – Daniel Tonkopiy, CEO, Delfast.
