This is a concept I developed during my six-month internships in SEAT 2018 (Volkswagen group) as an exterior designer. The concept consists of an electric super compact futuristic looking sports coupé. Aesthetically it´s inspired by volcanic rocks and the beauty of rock sculpting. combining harsh edges with smooth softer looking surfaces.
The car´s compact proportions are ideal, its lightweight, and practicality could be very useful when it comes to urban environments. The user may have the possibility to enjoy a fast car, that also adapts to all type of populated cities.
The full glass roof is meant to give the user the sensation of freedom and full visibility, it also breaks the body into two volumes which makes it simple and modern looking, the angular arches that surround the wheels are not only for design purposes but also reduce weight from the vehicle in general. The angles from the side view are pointing to each other, creating this way a sensation of symmetry, which means it adds some kind of stability and balance to the visual of this design.
