This will give you a 45 Km/h ( 30 MPH ) speed and enough torque to put that GRIN on your face while riding. S9 is easy to ride and tackles easily any surface in the city.

The Hero S9 electric scooter comes in 3 battery variants 48v 13ah, 48V 16Ah & 48v 21ah, with the largest of the three offering a maximum range of 60km (37 miles).

IS HERO S9 STREET LEGAL IN EU?

For some countries where the law is 25 Km/h, no, but there is a work-around. For driving the streets without having to worry about the law you should buy a street-legal electric scooter or a scooter that has a speed limiter….something to fly under the radar.

Even if the electric scooter law is not enforced in your country ( in the future it might ), you should still try to get a scooter that has that 2 connectors inside the controller. Hero S9 has them, and you can use them to limit the speed to 25 Km/h and 250W street legal power. Open the deck, connect two connectors and you are set.

We will give you an example:
You take a trip with a car from one country ( where scooters are not speed and power limited ) to another, and you are taking your electric scooter with you. You might get stopped by cops, so you better prepare the scooter by limiting the speed in hardware. It is not just enough to put the scooter in eco mode.

Note that in some countries your scooter’s limited power will not matter at all if the scooter is not out of the box made for 25 Km/h and 250 watts.
So in other words; maybe the easiest way on getting below the radar is to get something that does not intimidate others with the large size.This is just our observation, not a real feature.

Another nice feature is the width of the deck almost same as the width of ZERO 10X. The center of gravity on Hero scooters is really low so that the rider can swiftly turn left and right.
