It’s been several years since Delfast launched its fastest model – Delfast Top. Now the company announces an updated version – Delfast Top 2.0
The main focus is on the main feature of this particular bike – power. Delfast Top 2.0 remains the fastest model of the company with a 50 mph cap. Delfast have redefined some of the main features that would enable to utilize this speed – brake system and the engine.
Delfast Top 2.0 has a 5000W-strong engine to enable even faster acceleration – able to compete with most regular cars on a quarter-mile distance. Additionally, the new engine can maintain the top speed momentum for much longer now to avoid overheating. The engine has an IP54 protection standard, which allows the use of a bike in almost any weather.
This new power capacity required a redesign of the brake system of the bike. This bike has double disc brakes on the front fork – similar brakes are installed on cross-country motorcycles and it has proven itself in the most difficult conditions.
Delfast have also, reportedly, improved the internal design of the controller, modifying its firmware and water-proofing it. The bike has several more details added, like the controller protective cover, new 3G GPS tracker and more aggressive-looking wings. All in all – this bike will create a greater experience for riders who want more control, more power and more dynamic cycling that an e-bike can offer.
