Otto Bike MXR Electric Motorcycle unveiled on EICMA 2019 is a perfect balance between Sur-Ron STORM BEE and Sur-Ron Light Bee in terms of size and power!

Nobody expected Taiwanese manufacturer OTTO BIKE to pull 120 Km/h speed capable MXR off their engineering rooms and reveal it on EICMA 2019. MXR ( Maxi Extreme Rider ) electric dirt bike caught our attention. It was exactly what we wanted to see: A unique futuristic design, smaller size then Sur-Ron STORM BEE and bigger than LIGHT BEE with a balanced battery ( weight ) to speed ( range ) ratio!

The funny thing was that we actually saw few people from EV industry ( we will not name them ) hiding around the bikes and shooting thousands of pictures of all OTTO BIKES parts and tech solutions and then running away.

OTTO BIKES has shaken the 2 wheel EV industry with in-house engineering, quality, driving software and we hope with the mid-price range soon as well!

The bike is expected to be released in 2020. together with other OTTO BIKE models.
Liquid-cooled 11 Kilowatt mid-drive motor on MXR has 45 NM and it is using chain transmission to the rear wheel. We do not know the exact motor sprocket to wheel sprocket ratio ( OTTO BIKE will probably boost the bike’s torque by using 7:1, 6:1 or 5:1 ratio ). EvNerds would be surprised if the final production bikes rdo not run over 290 NM torque on the rear wheel!
This electric dirt-bike comes with 69.6 Ah battery capacity and 1.2 kW onboard charger that can charge 80 percent of the battery in 2 and a half hours! Having already developed smart dashboard solutions for other MSR models, MXR will benefit and include those features as well.
