E-Trial Motorbike

The main goal of E-Trial Motorbike project is to design and to make one electric motorcycle to compete in the Trial-E Cup which organizes the FIM.Trial-E is the new category in the trial world championship exclusive for electric motorbikes. The 2018 edition consists of two scoring tests, one is July 14 in Auron, France, and the other one is July 21 in Comblain au Pont, Belgium.

E-Trial Motorbike is located in Vilafamés, province of Castelló, Spain. The driving group of this project are David Oliver, Hugo Negre y Carles Serrano. David is electrical engineer and he is in the trials competition for more than 15 years.Hugo is a mechanical engineer with experience in rapid prototyping and digital manufacturing.  Carles is an industrial engineer and has participated before in other competition engineering projects.

The current state of E.Trial Motorbike is that we have now manufactured a first low-cost version of trial motorcycle prototype and we are working in to make it better. The base of this project is a commercial motorcycle from which we have used and adapted the cycle part. The main challenge is that the motorcycle must have a clutch and a new gearbox. We have also focused on developing our own battery pack.
