Electric bikes in Indonesia are getting traction, especially the ones built by Lombok E-bike company LE-BUI that we wrote already here. Since our YouTUBE video published in May, Lombok based e-bike manufacturer built another set of e-bikes combining the best parts from previous e-frames and mixing different styles together to get the perfect design combination. The European Union has decided to increase import taxes for Chinese based e-bikes ( In some cases over 80 percent! ) few days ago. This will increase export from countries like Indonesia to EU because of lower taxes for e-bikes. We fully believe this will give LE-BUI extra wind in the back to pursuit their bicycle production, and to reach new highs in sales.
